Except for the first movie, Clouseau usually won in the end, by a combination of bumbling accident and some idiot savant brilliance.

He was also basically a good person, pretty easy to empathize with. Kinda the hero of many of the movies.

He was also very funny, played by a brilliantly talented comedian, Peter Sellers.

Maybe the Clouseau character and Cohen share being fools, but Cohen is more of an evil henchmen. More like the kind of guy Clouseau was trying to catch, actually.

My brother and I love the Return of the Pink Panther. Check that one out.
