Trump again boasting about 50% approval in Rasmussen, says "much higher" than Obama (1% !!!)

Just hit 50% in the Rasmussen Poll, much higher than President Obama at same point. With all of the phony stories and Fake News, it’s hard to believe! Thank you America, we are doing Great Things.

Rasmussen doesn't poll on weekends so this is from Friday

and it shows Trump at 50% when President Obama was at 49% approval on the same date in 2010.


As often noted here, Rasmussen is an outlier, almost always showing a higher approval for Trump than other polls show. But even with Rasmussen, Trump's had to cherry-pick poll results, crowing about the few times when he's at 50% or higher on dates when Obama's approval wasn't as high, and ignoring all the days when his own approval dips and Obama's approval was higher on the same date.

And this was a particularly extreme example, with Trump claiming that 1% difference is "much higher."
