Trump has made big time enemies.

He has made enemies at the FBI, Justice Dept, the special council, congress, etc. These are patriots who are going to destroy Trump. Trump is not going to win. It's impossible.

Trump is one of the most hated sons of bitches in our countries history. His days are numbered.

"Trump is one of the most hated sons of bitches in our countries history. His days are numbered."

Jefferson Davis, war hero, senator, and secretary of war, turned traitor and was
the president of the confederacy. He died at 81 after a business trip, 25 years after
the fall of said rebel state.

Aaron Burr, killer of Alexander Hamilton, former VP tried (but acquitted) for treason,
lived out the next 30-odd years of life quietly in NY.

If this is any indication, Mr Trump and co will be wearing beautiful gold-plated skates -
at the very worst.

how easily Trump throws people under the bus, even people who are avid supporters like Jeff Sessions. Then to make an enemy out of the intelligence community on top of the justice department, that is insanity. These people have unfathomable resources and Trump is giving them reason to use them. It is like he is daring them to take him down.

How dumb can one man be?

in it.

That said, I really, really don't want to think he will be going down because he has made 'big-time enemies,' or that he is 'one of the most hated sons of bitches in our country's history.'

To me, that is this same 'deep state' theory that is being published on right wing websites, and propagated by other right wing propaganda channels.

Instead of that, let us think that:

Trump will go down because the people in the FBI, Justice, special council and congress have sworn oaths to protect the Constitution. Let us hope their loyalty is to this nation, and by extension we, the people, rather than merely that they are removing a sitting president, no matter how pathetic, because they are 'pissed' at him.

I hate to split hairs, but this is the way I see this OP.

Even if the D's take the Senate it will be by such a small amount of 1 or 2 Senator's votes, that it will be easy enough for the Republicans to find the number of conservative (oh, I'm sorry....."bipartisan&quot Dems needed to neuter anything that needs to be done.

I'd like to be wrong but I don't see any individual or group with the fortitude and/or numbers needed to do what is needed to be done to damage Trump.

...that Democrats will have the fortitude to completely stall his agenda as the Republicans did to the Dems.

The party is too in love with it's own "high road" I fear to do that.

I'm not saying he'll be able to get anything major through, but if there is a Supreme Court vacancy there is no doubt that Dems won't pull what the Republicans did. No way, no how.

All it takes is for a David Brooks or Chuck Todd type to "tsk-tsk" Dems on anything and enough of them will buckle like cheap belts to undercut any full party efforts.

After we take the House in Jan 19, Trump will probably be impeached by the House, but not convicted by the Senate. So he will be around for another 2 years to veto Dem legislation out of vengence, pass executive orders that stink and punish. But his wings will be clipped. He will posture and rant and continue to embarrass us and degrade the Presidency.

So after 2018, that is the time for our Dem stars to declare candidacy for Senate seats, governorships, and the WH. It will be a time to present a Dem vision for a domestic and international agenda. It will also be a time to emphasize civility, decency, integrity, and personal honor. Wouldn't that sound sweet for a change?

Trump's brand is trash. If his kids are facing criminal prosecution, it will be very difficult for them to ever get loans to play real estate. Plus there's all those NY, NJ, and VA state charges that are not going away.

Personally, I almost feel sorry for the lot of them. Wasted lives every one. Degenerate people ending in ignominy. With their privileges and assets, they could have lived virtuous lives and accomplished great things that were of benefit to others. But no, they chased after money, privilege, and fame.

Dan 1:28 - "Mene, mene, tekel, upharsin" - The handwriting on the wall at Belshazzar's feast. Roughly translated as Beshazzar's kingdom having been weighed and measured, it was found wanting, and thus given away Medes and Persians. The hand, having written, moves on.

Early on he went out of his way to badmouth and attack both the FBI and the CIA. That said, I have grave doubts that he's going to be stopped, even if Mueller eventually comes out with blockbuster evidence. The Republican Congress is complicit and has had Trump's back all along through every degradation and hammer-blow to the rule of law and our Democracy. Given how our election was mutilated and manipulated in 2016 I also have grave doubts that a 2018 "Blue Wave" won't also be sabotaged. Hope I'm wrong.
