So, It Turns Out Democrats Were Right About Tax Cuts

Just 4.3% of workers will get a one-time bonus or pay hike tied to the Trump tax cuts... businesses got 9X more in cuts than what they passed on to their workers & companies spent 37X as much on stock buybacks than they did on bonuses and increased wages. https://t.co/KYOj8WuMlz

good luck with that, republicans.

i just got back from the store and struck up a conversation with this guy while in line. he was mortified to learn that the GOP did away with the home mortgage tax deduction. people really need to read and educate themselves .

making the max deduction based on a $750k mortgage instead of one million. Still a real hit where housing is expensive (blue states).

Most Trump supporters do not read and educate themselves. Or if they do, they never stray far from Fox News and other CT media outlets which feed them fake news.

While Democrats may be chuckling to themselves and winking at each other of how monstrous this bill is turning out to be, and how easy this will be to win on, Republicans and their media minions are screaming how great the bill is for the average worker, how great our great President is, and...oh....anything the Democrats say about it is FAKE NEWS and should never be believed. And it will work on them. Why wouldn't it? Its an old family recipe that still works.

private mortgage insurance is one thing Dems slipped back in. It's good to check if there are more that might affect DUers.

Per them, t-rump is not perfect but he really, truly cares about them and loooooooooooves America!

And yes, the Dems were right.

My tax bill will increase by about 20 percent next year.

But that’s because I live in a blue state and belong to a union.

And the really true believers listen to the twit in the White House (aided by his squawkers over at Fox) and are impressed that they will see an increase in their paychecks without bothering to see what it COST them. Will they ever learn? Or will they figure it out much too late?

After all, the intent of Trickle Down Economics is to enrich the wealthy and penalize the poor.

Mission Accomplished.
