Mitt ain't gonna show his tax returns.

It ain't gonna happen.

He would may as well stick his neck in a guillotine. They would be very embarrassing or devastating for him.

He will hem and haw and make excuses and say he gave all the law requires, blah, blah, blah, but he ain't gonna release any more returns.

Harry Reid and the Democrats can say whatever they want to say. These tax returns are more important than the Presidency to Mitt Romney.

Not only did he not pay any taxes for several years, but truth be known, he didn't give a fair tithe to his church either. So, don't worry your little self about some grand plot to show that the Democrats are not telling the truth. It ain't gonna happen...

Mitt Romney is a liar. He is a tax cheat. He is not qualified to be President of the United States.

1. I agree. Those returns are filled with political poison. He won't release them.

And that's the reason it's taking him so long to release even one more year, because his accountants need months to make it look even somewhat representable.

12. This is actually a terrible precedent to set. A candidate who served public office

and is running for President should have to show all their tax returns from their first day in public office to present day. Including time off from public office. If Romney started in 1994 than he should be required to show from 1994-2011.

For those running for president without having served public office should be at least previous 5 years. Although rarely do people run for prez without any previous public office.

He won't show his returns. He thinks it will all go away and like in the primaries he can just ignore the issue, but this isn't the primaries anymore, and I don't think it will go away. Now I am sure he will make it to the convention, and he will get the nomination, no problem there, but after that I think the big money from the right is going to be used to try and keep control of the House, and to try and take control of the Senate. I think the plan is to try and get democrats to spend money on the presidential election, and not have enough to help the democrats running for congress.

As for Romney, well I don't really think the likes of Rove ever thought he could win, just like McCain, he is simply the sacrificial goat who they need to let run, but then after he loses they will be rid of him so they can get their "A" team, if they really have an "A" team, in place for 2016. They are going to have to come back to the middle, and I see Jeb Bush trying that already, and they will have 4 more years for them to get there.

Romney will keep on making an ass out of himself until he loses, and he will never release those taxes, unless he has some being doctored up to throw out days before the election, but I kind of doubt that also.

They don't fix economies - they destroy them. So, you may be right. They are not ready for 2012.

5. I think he fears

the fact that he didn't tithe his fair share to his church more than the fact that he didn't pay his fair share of taxes.

Faux-News adherents can ignore all sorts of things when they see an (R) behind someone's name. The Mormon Church is not quite as forgiving - especially where money is concerned.

The church can overlook all kinds o' things, but cheatin' the Lord (and chruch) of tithes is not one of them.

Hell, not paying their fair share of taxes, is a badge of honor with the 1% set. Only the "you people" pay taxes.

I mean, John McCain's camp had them for review. Somewhere some CPA firm has them on a computer. It's just a matter of time. Hackers and moles and whatnot.

Is all we need to hear. He is going to get away with it. Especially if he takes it past the convention. I would think the ones who ran in the primaries would be the most upset right now. But he did what I thought he would do. Blame it on Obama, and go on.
