Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn met with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. in December 2015, months after Flynn first met then-presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to a Republican congressional report.

The previously unknown meeting, which was also attended by Flynn's son, took place at Ambassador Sergey Kislyak's Washington, D.C., residence on Dec. 2, 2015, according to a declassified report on Russian election meddling compiled by the GOP-controlled House Intelligence Committee.

Flynn had met Trump for the first time four months earlier at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

Emails show the meeting at Kislyak's home "was arranged at the request of General Flynn or his son," according to the House report, which was made public Friday.

Flynn meets Trump. Flynn has private meeting with Kislyak's home. Flynn then flies to Moscow and gets paid for a speech and meets with Putin. Flynn returns and joins Trumps campaign.

About a week after the meeting, Flynn traveled to Moscow to hold a paid speech at a gala hosted by Russian state-owned media organization RT. Flynn was seated next to President Vladimir Putin during the gala.

Interesting that this is leaked now.

I am guessing they want to turn the heat up on Cohen and get the tapes.

There is virtually no innocent explanation for this meeting, the trip, the payment, the meeting with Putin and the follow up meetings.

We hope that each drop will be THE ONE that starts a cascade of evidence against tRump and his merry band of treasonous bastards. So far that has not happened. But wait...it’s coming.

At some point (none of us knows when), Mueller will release his findings. It may not be concise but it will have the smoking gun(s) that will remove all doubt about collusion, conspiracy, corruption and crimes. tRump’s Fox and Friends call in the other day gave us a tiny preview of his reaction when that happens. The unraveling has begun but when the whole ugly story spills out in a torrent of ugly truth, the unraveling will be completed. tRump really is done, he just doesn’t quite know it yet. He still thinks he can control things by going on Fox and babbling for as long as they let him. Now that is a joke. I keep thinking of Queeg testifying and maniacally manipulating those ball bearings. And sweating. Just replace Queeg with tRump. It is gonna be epic and sweet revenge for all he has put us through.
