I Will Never Understand Why Anyone With One Brain Cell Would Vote GOP Then Again -------.

I do not care how far back you look except maybe in Lincoln's time when you were anti slavery that you would vote GOP. And it is hard to imagine that the Democrats were the pro slavery pre Bellum . When I want to the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, Illinois where I am from the modern day news cast of the Lincoln campaign made with Russert made that all that clear.

On top of that it is ironic that the southern Democrats or Dixiecrats if you look at it were the ones who helped pass Social Security and Medicare in actuality. It is the Dixiecrats who went "south" so to speak and turned GOP after the Civil Rights Bill. Politics as well as religion leads to some pretty strange belief systems. So at one time if you were a Democrat you were pro slavery.

Mental dystopia seems to be a natural human condition. For some reason the human brain can entertain completely irreconcilable and antithetical beliefs at the same time. Spock was right we are truly a completely illogical species.
