(135,425 posts)A "lieutenant" of campus police is rather like the "captain" of the Good Ship Lollipop, IMO.
It's a title.
We'll not know the full story unless he tells us I guess.

(135,425 posts)He doesn't look like he would pass the medical physical, never mind the physical fitness test!
He does look like he's a natural as a Keystone Kop, though!
Of course, he might not have the fitness for that gig, either!

(10,440 posts)People that gave the orders get early retirements and get to keep their 300K a year jobs.
Typical. The guy, no matter how horrible this was, was following orders. Orders from people way higher in the chain than he was. Officer Pike would not have done this on his own, he was told to do this. And the people that told him to do this are being rewarded.
And would do exactly the same thing again.

(48 posts)When will we start holding officers accountable for their brutality and excessive use of force? The handling of protesters is Unconstitutional and endangers the basic rights of EVERY last American. Is this the country we were raised in, were men and women are beaten, gassed, pepper-sprayed and arrested for their disapproval of the government?
