he was not often demonstrably affectionate, even to my mother, and even in private. I cherish the few photos of his affection toward me, usually a hug from behind me. We didn't often say "I love you" in my family growing up. OTOH, even though her father and I were later (mid-life) divorced, saying "I love you" and demonstrative affection was normal in our home when she was growing up. Her dad and I are Trump's generation and she is a few years older than Ivanka. There are plenty of pictures of her and her dad showing affection to one another during her teenage and adult years. NONE of them give out this vibe. It IS weird. I think any mom with an adult daughter who has a normally loving father will understand what I mean. At best, these photos say "I'm Donald Trump and Look How HOT my Daughter is!" He's outwardly spoken of her as a sexual being in his eyes ( as to Howard Stern). Most normal dads need some adjustment knowing their daughter has become a sexual being to other men. THAT'S the norm. Without implying that anything is remiss in the Trump father/daughter relationship, Trump's attitude IS very creepy.
