The President in Mansfield, Ohio (with pics)

Ohio is looking good for the president in recent polling, and he's there today to keep up the attack on Romney and his tax proposals:

MANSFIELD, Ohio -- President Barack Obama blasted GOP opponent Mitt Romney’s economic plan today before a crowd of supporters in Mansfield, proclaiming Romney’s plan would raise taxes on middle-class families.

Obama's visit to working-class Mansfield -- one of several recent trips to Ohio -– came while Republicans denounced the administration’s planned budget cuts that could shutter a local military base and eliminate hundreds of jobs. The administration, however, then committed to keeping the base open with a new mission.

Surrounded by two- and three-story buildings in the city’s downtown, Obama highlighted the differences between his economic policies and those of Romney.

“He’s asking you to pay more so that people like him can get a big tax but,” Obama said.
