I know it's been awhile, but I always enjoyed her show and take on issues. I know she was part of the big sweep clean out at MSNBC, but what was the real reason? Anyone hear why her show got axed?

(2,795 posts)Something happened where they don't even have her come back as an analyst or make guest appearances. She seems very knowledgeable. I've seen her on Bill Maher and read she's editor of The Atlantic. But she kind of just fell off and I never see her anywhere.
Just wondering what happened.

(21,106 posts)In a resignation letter obtained by National Report, Wagner claims she has been spreading lies on behalf of Obama and using her position with MSNBC to falsely promote a brutal dictator.
Wagner goes on to say, I have spent my entire professional career working toward a position based on false pretenses. I have worked hard to obtain a position with a major news network and expected to be reporting on serious issues. Instead, I am handed Pro-Obama scripts and asked to be a mouthpiece for the administration.
Of course, the Reich wing ran with that as pure truth.

(34,136 posts)I don't find anything about Alex Wagner on Snopes.com. In the gray box in the body of my message I quoted the headline from the TruthoFiction.com page so it was labeled that way.
You are right, the right wing nut jobs were spreading this around.

(6,474 posts)pretty good show on cable that just started its 2nd season on Sunday Nites. I think this type of show is a better format for her personality. The show also stars John Heilemann and Mark McKinnon
