and I saw the Allman's tonight and they played Franklin's Tower AKA "Roll away the due"

I remember walking out of North Beach Pizza in The Haight in San Francisco with my young son and seeing the newspaper headline.

It sent me into a spin, but I had to retain my composure for him.

I bought a pint of Cherry Garcia later that night. That's about as psychedelic as I get these days.

My son? He's all grown up and getting married in Sophia, Bulgaria next week. I'm flying over to be his best man. I love his soon-to-be

Time passes. "Ripple" and "Box of Rain" still comfort.
