Trump's favorite network keeps raising questions about Stormy Daniels' lawyer that could be answered with seconds of research.

On Thursday night, Laura Ingraham devoted an entire segment of her show to raising an ominous-sounding question: Who is paying Michael Avenatti?
Avenatti, the lawyer for Stormy Daniels, has played a key role in breaking open the scandal surrounding Michael Cohen, President Trumps personal lawyer.
Speculation about the source of his funding was the topic of a lengthy conversation. Watch:
That wasnt the first time a Fox News host raised questions about Avenattis funding on Thursday evening. In a segment just before Trumps speech in Indiana, host Bill Hemmer also raised questions about Avenattis funding, citing the same Hill op-ed as Ingraham.

Maybe, Ari Fleisher should first and foremost get the blood off his hands when he was standing at the podium when men and woman were getting killed in war that was based on lie, and now he is making money off those deaths by beings some so called source of ..................of horseshit, and then there is the right wing self serving woman that got here comeuppance when 17 students were murdered and a high school student called her out on here fucking right wing hypocrisy.............
Here Ingram try this again, just one more time..............Avenatti, has your proverbial number and Fleischer and Hemmers proverbial number ..........................get over it...................
The tweet links to a statement that says ALL fees and expenses of this case of either been funded by our client, Ms. Stephanie Clifford [aka, Stormy Daniels], or by donations from our crowdjustice.com page.
Further, no political party or PAC is funding this effort, it adds. No left wing conspiracy group is behind this. And no big fat cat political donors are leading the charge. Get over it.

(28,151 posts)I mean the shit is hitting the fan, clearly they couldn't go on ignoring him. Of course he exposed dirty money stuff so they imply... he's got dirty money.
*yawn* I'm gonna need a minute to absorb this shock...

(45 posts)Fox News is questioning HOW an extremely successful lawyer for a porn star is being paid while not questioning WHY a mediocre lawyer for the POTUS was paid over 4 million dollars by various Fortune 500 companies?

(9,670 posts)The GOP certainly doesn't care that the source of their funds are the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, and Vladimir Putin, among others.
If the best character assassination you've got is questioning the source of a lawyer's funds to create a media blitz based on facts and revelations of right wing crimes and scandals....well....they've lost. Bigly.

(82,849 posts)When some whack job is apprehended with a vehicle full of weapons on his way to kill Avenatti, it will be 10/10. For now, Fox will see how the old reliable public smear job works.

(15,286 posts)John Heilman was on Nicolle Wallace's panel today. He'd shadowed Avenatti earlier in the week for his Showtime political show, "The Circus". He talked about Avenatti's media strategy and said that Avenatti has been so visible that he has effectively "crowdsourced" evidence gathering - that people are sending him info "over the transom" related to Cohen (et al).

And let's be intellectually honest here. Rachel would be doing the exact same thing if he was on the other side.

(3,608 posts)ARE. The moral of the story is that if RUMP wasn't CORRUPT there would be no there there with any lawyer, anywhere.

(10,828 posts)going to go after him full guns blazing because he's effective and poses a danger to their continuing scam. Avenatti needs to be careful and absolutely spot on with future 'revelations' because any major slip up will be used to crucify his credibility. Any skeletons in his closet will be exposed. They're hot to bring the man down.
