Time to change pharmacies MAGA people

Walked down to get my mother in laws scripts. And there on the counter was car magnets ( I stand for the National anthem) and another car magnets saying (I support the second amendment) well you lost my business. We only shop when we need antibiotics or maybe aspirin . I’ll just have them filled ,at the grocery store pharmacy from here on out.

I, too, hate seeing stores selling this right wing propaganda crap as if it's common belief. They will alienate a lot of their customers, to say the least.

I ask businesses who have trinkets for sale or Fox News in their waiting rooms to stop or lose my business.

Tell them. Don't just walk away silent. They need to hear there is resistance.

You were smart to recognize the propaganda effort, take the next step and protect others who aren't so smart. Ask the business to stop, or you will take your business elsewhere and tell all of your friends and neighbors.

8. It's too bad you didn't tell them why you wouldn't be back

because mom and pop pharmacies are a dying breed that values every customer, and your remarks might have made a difference. You could tell them at a later date that you no longer shop in their store because of the political material they displayed, not saying that you disagreed with it or not, just that you don't think healthcare ought to be involved in politics.

I bet the person behind the counter was a sweet old lady.

want - that's how I start it off....but there may be more people than they actually realize that don't care for that sort of thing at a pharmacy.

That's the "preferred" pharmacy for my Part D so hope I don't have to move it, but will if needed.

Ditto the little fish emblem on a sign or in an advertisement.

These folks are simply trolling for like-minded customers. They didn't want your business to begin with. Not a viable business model.

At the check-out counter in her office, there was a count-down clock/calendar showing how many days until the end of President Obama's term. I told the clerk that I found it inappropriate and offensive. She replied that other patients had complained as well, but "Doctor B" didn't care -- it was staying put. I said "Fine, I'm changing doctors."

And followed through on that threat. My current doctor is 20 miles away and I have to fight rush-hour traffic to get to/from the office. Apart from the distance, I have absolutely no complaints with my new doctor. I've also shared this story with others -- specifically naming Doctor B -- as an anti-referral.
