I am remiss to throw the Bible at anyone but Mike Pence's faux piety makes me want to vomit.

They claim to know God, but they deny him by what they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit to do anything good.

He's actually a worse individual than Trump.

Donald Trump, with his feral cunning, knew. The oleaginous Mike Pence, with his talent for toadyism and appetite for obsequiousness, could, Trump knew, become America’s most repulsive public figure. And Pence, who has reached this pinnacle by dethroning his benefactor, is augmenting the public stock of useful knowledge. Because his is the authentic voice of today’s lickspittle Republican Party, he clarifies this year’s elections: Vote Republican to ratify groveling as governing.

Same scenario at some point during Bush's term there seemed to be notion taking hold with many in the corporate media and even here that Cheney was actually worse than his boss.

He became Bush's lightning rod in the media and that was before shooting his friend in the face and not letting the deputy sheriff on the property until the next day to investigate.

Of course they lasted for two terms, different circumstances I know but eerily similar to me on a cosmic level.

Thanks for the thread, DemocratSinceBirth

Not very Christian. Jesus would be walking with all those Pence rails against.

Just throwing my own Bible training against the "believer" from the non believer.

To paraphrase: When God hates the same people as you it's pretty safe to assume you have created God in your own image.

Of course the evangelicals can be fervent in their beliefs when they are worshiping themselves.

every night as part of his love for god. And she doesn’t stop until he bleeds so his god can be pleased.

That might be why he always looks so pained.
