We're far, far beyond decency, swamps, sewers ...

Here’s the reality of Trump and his enablers: No lie is too big. There is no bottom. There is no such thing as wrong, despicable, inhumane, “evil.” There are only Trump’s wishes, wants, needs, desires, whims, “reality.”

“Mueller’s investigation has gone on too long. End it now!”

“Mueller and his investigators are Democrats!”

“Witch Hunt!”

“Fake News!”

“Hugest crowds ever!”

“Mexicans rapists!”

“Muslim terrorists!”

“All those women we’re lying!”

“John McCain is dying anyway.”

Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren are … umm, … (the “c” word).

Joe Arpaio, and wannabe Alabama senator Roy Moore, -- great Americans.”

“Lock her up! Lock her up!”

“Sen. Chuck Schumer, Rep. Adam Schiff -- making things up. (Yeah, but, what do you expect? They have Jewish names.)”

All that's missing is the declaration from the orange creature in the White House, that: “L’etat, c’est mois”; the statement by King Louis XIV of France that literally meant, “The state am I.” (Or, --I am the state, the country, the king, the ruler, the final word. I Am In Charge. Nothing matters but what I say. Nothing matters but what I want to do. Nothing matters but ME. ME. ME.)

Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, et. al., were educated men. They knew about people like Caligula, Nero, Vlad the Impaler, and virtually every other monstrous villain in history. They knew about The Crusades, The Inquisition, The Salem Witch Trials, The … oh hell, they knew about all the dangers of demented people in power oppressing humanity.

So they came up with the Constitution of the United States of America.

And, yes, they knew they couldn’t cover and protect all the horrors that could befall humanity. But, Jesus fucking Christ. You’ve really got to give these brilliant men all the credit in the world for understanding human nature; for understanding “The Dark Side,” and for trying to foresee, prevent and reign it in.

The deaths of the American Civil War, the Holocaust, the Killing Fields of Cambodia, the countless other horrors that humans have, and still, inflict on other humans, are virtually impossible to prevent. Seems that whether anyone likes or dislikes it, approves or disapproves of it, mass murder and inhumanity are built into human nature.

So what now? Vote?

At this moment, our obedience to our Constitution really does seem like a death pact. Will we survive Trump? Pence? The Republican Party?

Who knows? If you could throw a message into a bottle in the middle of this sea of terror, and hope it was found and acted upon, what would it say? “Help”?

That doesn't seem to be good enough.

So I guess it's going to be left to history to judge what we Americans were willing to do about the horror that's befallen us.

But then, there's that tribalism thing.

You're hoping for people to act with decency. Doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

I can only hope that Dems would be better human beings, if/when they ever again come to power.

you call it "tribalism," I'm calling it greed. They'll stop supporting him when they don't get their pockets lined any more - or face prosecution/jail for illegal donations, or an uprising from the "home folks" (not counting on THAT - they elected the jerk and his people to begin with!).

Hoping for "decency" from this crowd?

HA!!!!

I’m getting fatigued by being outraged. But I will get off my ass and vote in every election until I lose that right. And I will NEVER vote for a rethug ever! This pos twitler is a blemish on our country and history will not be kind to him. I want him taken down and castrated politically. ( I mean he has a pencil dick and it probably doesn’t work so I’m not advocating for a quick snip but of a figurative castration).

I'm eerily calm - and part of that might be getting engaged in the party level as a decision maker, and certainly activism.

I know it seems like it is far far away - but it's 176 days until November 6.

It's May 14th - it's just 5 months until we can get to an October Surprise - and I'm thinking it's coming from Avenatti.

The fact that mediate and daily caller are trying to gin up nonsense stories to TRY and tear him down? Bravo.

We also have the NY Times and the Post.

June 17th 1972 to August 20 1974. - 26 months

The breaking and entering was November 2016 - that's when 45/140 was aided and abetted by the Russians and Traitors from within to destroy our country.

We are seriously down to the final leg of this journey.

Vote, vote, vote. Find someone who didn't vote in 2016, and get them to vote this November. Find that one thing that will terrify them - and get them to vote on it.

Keep calm - and let's take this fucking country BACK!

And then to the people who count those ballots.

And it's that "counting the ballots" thing where they've been fucking us for decades.

So, this time, it will be different because ... ?

I don't mean to be a cynic. But at some point, the majority of us must put an end to ... I guess I can't put a name on what it is that must be ended. Racism? Hatred? Ignorance? Greed? Stupidity? Self-destruction? Human frailty?

Beats me.

But, if we wan't to "take our country back," we must find a way to end the crazy. Or, at least, find a fair way to outvote the crazy and make sure our votes get counted.

Murphy creamed Christie's lap dog last November.

We already had one Democratic Assembly member in our district - we now have two as of November 2017.

We flipped two Town Council Seats.

We actually have people running for Freeholder - when was the last time that happened?
We have a solid Democratic running for mayor.
Two council seats - we have strong candidates for.
We have Bob Menendez and a VERY strong Tom Malinowski.

Things look good - and will look better. The people selected (including myself) to run for those Democratic Committee seats in NJ were picked at least in our district? For being viciously partisan.

I have no problem publicly telling our Mayor's racist knuckle dragging anti semitic anti muslim wife to go fuck herself publicly.

And many people like that. I literally got applause for that.

We gotta go ovaries (in my case) and balls to the walls. Pummel these fuckers with everything we've got.

I can be nice later.

Now what works in NJ might not work in Michigan or Wisconsin. We also know in our state that our voting machines are NOT secure - we have no paper trail . . .

It's numbers number numbers.

If we know they threw out 27K votes in Wisconsin - we have to id that district and get 50K Democratics to vote.

The numbers have to be overwhelming.

You're out there on the front lines, while most, me included, are writing, condemning, bitching.

You have all of my admiration for what you are doing, along with the strongest vibes I can muster to help you succeed. And perhaps, if $$s are needed to make that happen, maybe DUers can pitch in.

More info needed as to where, who, what, when.

It's not a good idea to provide personal info here. What's needed is to find another way for DUers to kick in and help.

And I have helped financially?

Kansas's 3rd

They don't have the finances that our district in NJ has. They just don't have the money there.

Next up? Right up the road from me? NJ 11th.

Hold until June 6th. There is a healthy race between four Democratics. After that - that team might need help.

Just as we got Lance to come to Town Halls and got them on the Rachel Maddow show -

You oughta see what the 11th did. They were doing what we did here - going to their Congressmans location EVERY single week. They would hold town halls without him. . .

Ahhh - they are gorgeous trouble makers up there! I'd bet they could use phone canvassers after the Primary.

Democratic Party Primary Candidates - they did a GOOD job - and two more dropped out. So a total of six were vying for this seat!

Far too many people can't/won't understand the darkness that has come upon us. And it won't go away until those who "get it" make it go away.
