If America ever needed a lawyer ...

put Michael Avenatti's name at the top of the list.

Mueller and his team can't legally say too much while staying within the rules. And you can bet that there's no one who will stay within the rules more than Mueller -- an honest, decent, reliable man, -- a man who (sane people) can trust.

But Stormy Daniels's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, can, legally, say a lot.

Trump, his minions, his sycophants, his boot-lickers, Rudy, the Russians, et.al. can't/won't tell us about any Trump (criminal?) stuff. (Stuff that is probably already known to Mueller, but who can't/won't come out until it's too late to save America from the orange creature, and the criminals in the Republican Party, that are destroying America.)

But Michael Avenatti can talk about things related to his client. And to things related to, as he put it, "The truth."

No one can or should push/hurry the Mueller investigation to "finish up." Is the
"Trump team" pushing out of fear? (You can almost smell the panic/terror coming from the White House.) In the long run, Mueller may be looked upon as the man who saved (what's left of) America.

But in the meantime, people are impatient. And I think that Avenatti "gets it." I think he knows that Trump, the Republican Party, and the Russians, might just "get away with it." And that's why he's letting "stuff" slip out, a little at a time.

Avenatti is a top-shelf lawyer, who isn't going to put out anything that can come back at him. And that means, HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT.

History will judge Trump, Mueller, Avenatti, et. al. Unless Trumpism wins out, whereupon there will only be the history told to us by some Orwellian "Ministry of Truth."

So, my bet is that the villains and heroes are already cast. And the only question left is which superstar of the future will get to play Avenatti in the movie?

and hope he and his team (if there is one) are being very careful because you can bet the RW wacks are searching high and low for dirt (made up or otherwise) on him and also possible physical threats they can direct at him and his family, and I'm sure Stormy too, crazy times we are living.
