(5 posts)It's the person behind the fast food chain they we all have a problem with. Now those who do the agree with him would take eat there and the ones who do will eat there. Now let's just get on with our lives.

(26,219 posts)The they/we reads like this statement will differ depending on the audience. Is it "they" or "we"?
Those who do the agree would take eat, and the ones that do will eat there - no idea what this means?
Encourage people to patronize a bigoted company, or encourage them to boycott them - what is "getting on"?

(35,356 posts)They do support having a man and woman marrying for life and establishing, if possible, a family. That's their stance.
Everything else is corollary and counterpoint. Of course, that stance has many opposites.
Even the infamous "rant" was said at a retreat attended by couples who wanted to firm up and build stronger (heterosexual) marriages.
"Corollary" includes disapproving of divorce and remarriage, premarital sex, anything homosexual.
Counterpoint? The Sunday "thang" is to give employees a day off to worship if you're religious, but for the religious and non-religious it's still a day to spend with the family.
Families tend to have kids. So it's kid-friendly if not kid-centered. They hire lots of kids. They give out lots of scholarships. They support and partner with lots of student groups, formally and informally. Don't like kids? Avoid CFA.
