I hope Doria Ragland moves to England, at least by the time

any grandchildren appear. It must be awfully hard to be 5500 miles away from your only child.

And like most people around here, I want this lovely woman to be happy.

She and Meg used to drive around Los Angeles in her car with the number plate Megnme.

Now they were in a Rolls-Royce Phantom, heading to Windsor Castle amid all the pomp and ceremony the British monarchy could muster.

Every mother of the bride feels a twinge of sadness at “giving” their girl to their husband. But Doria must have felt a huge sense of loss.

She was giving her “Flower” to a Prince, a royal family, a country and an entire Commonwealth.

And she had to do so alone, in a foreign country, possibly still jet-lagged and with two billion people around the globe watching on TV.

she can't see her anytime she wants. I think Megan/Harry will be spending a good amount of time traveling, I'd hate to see mom alone in a strange land.

they would probably be happy to have her along to help.

Michelle Obama's mother moved in with them to the White House and everyone was happy.

They have children.

Edit to add - “to help?” Do you realize that there are nannies for all royal children?

so I imagine it's not easy. Meghan had been living in Canada though for 7yrs so her mother has learned to deal with her absence.
