The most unrealistic part in this video are the women.

Some people (aka whiny pissboys) have their panties in a twist that the next installment of "Battlefield" will include female characters.

One couched his complaint by clarifying that soviet female snipers would have been historically accurate, but that there were no british women on the frontlines.

After all, Battlefield is known for historical accuracy. In that trailer alone:
- Soldiers charge head-first into a short-range firefight instead of trying to stay alive by shooting from a distance.
- That woman was shot and was lying inside the house where the tank drove through moments later. Yet she somehow survived because "Rule of Cool".
- No shellshock.
- No exhaustion from running too much and carrying a machine-gun.
- Where is the smoke from all the burning vehicles?
- Where is the dust from all the destroyed buildings?
- Planes flying so low and so slow you could throw stones at them.

But it's the presence of women that makes this game inaccurate.

As kids we played army with our toy guns and our fathers WWII souveneers.

We had helmet liners and web belts and fist aid bandages. I was born in 1946 and the war was just a few years ago when we were kids.

I was drafted when I was 19 and played real war in Vietnam. I had a M60 like the guy on the left in the OP picture.

I don’t have a clue about these war games for kids now.

They may have to go to real war also when they are older. The game won’t prepare them for real war. That won’t be a game.
