Does anyone think it's just a coincidence that Trump sent the letter to Kim Jong Un...

...while 30 foreign journalists, including some from CNN, are still inside of North Korea.

The danger that these journalists are in is considerable. Why would anyone put it past an angry Kim Jong Un to delay (or even take hostage) some of these journalists?

For Trump not to wait the few hours, or even a day or two, until all these journalists are safely out of North Korea is either intentional or incompetence.

In either case, this is another example of how dangerous the Trump presidency is.

He sensed the summit was falling apart and wanted to cancel before Kim did it. The safety of the journalists didn't go into his thinking. His only concern was the thought of more personal humiliation by Kim cancelling on him.
