Do you think Trump actually believes his bullshit?

That everything is wonderful - the best ever?

His tweet this morning about how great everything is almost sounds like he really thinks he is having a great effect on tgthe e country - better than anyone who ever lived.

And then I think about those poor immigrant kids and I am so appalled by the cruelty of these monsters . It takes my breath away.

How he can just cruise along spewing all these outright lies, and his followers just eat it up!

reality show and feels compelled to come up with something new and outrageous for his "audience" several times a day. In other words, it's like if Rush Limbaugh wanted to remain relevant without an actual show. It's about the audience and the "ratings".

In an old interview 2005?], Trump was reflecting on Kerry's loss in 2004. Trump said it was terrible the way Republicans tore down genuine, decorated war hero Kerry with the Swift Boat lies. 'However, it worked! So it was a good thing.' [Trump said this in a reflective, almost philosophical manner, like it was a matter of fact.

...anything that sounds good, and he'll never be held accountable. It's not a "lie" as long as it's something he wants us to believe. Sadly there have been way too many instances where Cheeto got away with his BS all these years. Especially the media won't call him on his bullshit, because when they do, he sues them.

Cheeto has only hired and worked with people who have told him how smart he is, and that he's always right. If anybody ever tells him what a dumbass he is, they would be fired. He just lives in a bubble of total bullshit. Probably a few of his lawyers have told him how much trouble he's in, but they are sworn to secrecy/loyalty and they're helping him anyway they can.

Cheeto really believes that he has everybody fooled.

It is almost like there is no person there. It is just an empty suit.

He has no concept of right or wrong. No compassion. No empathy. No conscience. Just kind of a cunning intelligence.

Just empty.

Basically he doesn't care at all, just so long as the customers don't attack with pitchforks.
And if they do attack, he'll baffle them again and send them after somebody else.
