AUBURN A suspended lawyer campaigning to be the district attorney for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties was issued no-trespassing paperwork after an incident at the Cumberland Farms at 119 Center St. on Monday.
Officers Andrew Shute and Thomas Ellis responded to a disturbance call at 2:43 p.m. Monday and found Republican Seth Carey placing election signs on Cumberland Farms private property without permission.
Carey became nasty when the store manager and several employees asked him to remove the signs, the incident report said.
The Cumberland Farms manager told Carey to call the convenience stores corporate office to get permission and he started to freak out, the report said.
