What Rosanne COULD DO Moving Forward

If, and I mean if, Rosanne Barr were smart, and I think that we have ample evidence that she is far from the top of her graduating class, she would turn this entire debacle into a movement by becoming a bridge between the American racist subculture she embraces and the very people she had been deriding for years. She has the fame to affect change and could begin to erase her reputation as an unabashed supporter of bigotry over a long period of time if she chose to take the higher road. Not doing so will put the final nail in her legacy as an abhorrent social pariah that will inevitably follow her to her grave.

If she is comfortable with being identified as a racist and rich enough to hide from the public until she is eventually forgotten and finally dies alone only to have this entire incident brought back as the defining moment in her career all over the media, then she should just keep making excuses and spewing racist tweets all the way into irrelevance. This is her moment to make that choice.

What will you do Ms. Barr? The country is watching. Which side of history will you come down on?

No matter how much they deny it. Have you ever met a racist that admitted to being a racist? They always seem shocked whenever anyone calls them out for their own words.

as Santorum or Gingrich or Conway or Bannon, and there are so many more jackanapes to choose from. Their hateful spew is just another example of the mental & spiritual pollution supported & validated by Fox "news" & other RW platforms.

She is very popular in many large circles. That is a big part of the problem. Outfits as large as ABC were perfectly comfortable with her racism and bigotry,. She has adoring fans. Some of them now see her as the victim.

As long as those four things exist we'll keep seeing this crap over and over and having the same discussion. The problem isn't one individual, the problem overall is our society. As long as we keep giving racist hate mongers a platform with no filter, expect more of this crap happening, and expect the dialogue to repeat itself.

an interesting religious history. Grew up in Utah or some other heavily Mormon area and her family kinda hid their faith and she was involved with the Mormon youth groups. Privately the did practice Jewish traditions.

Her racism could have come from anywhere...all groups have their bigots.
