We had a narcissistic racist in my department, at work. They are creative excuse makers.

Perhaps not particularly clever or well thought out excuses, but they can be prolific. Sometimes there is a degree of accountability, but they soon neutralize that with more venom.

This whole Roseanne situation is most definitely giving me flashbacks to a very stressful period in my life.
