(50,279 posts)2. Trump is in a lose lose situation. If he pardons Cohen, it's good for Cohen but not Trump.
Cohen will then have to testify under oath and will not be able to take the 5th to protect himself from self incrimination.

I suppose the real question should be: does any distinction even matter in the era of Trump, when his party won't pursue any crimes?
