Paul Manafort's housing location in the Virginia jail where he has been remanded is listed as "VIP," according to jail records.

The jail records show that Manafort was booked into Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia at 8.22 p.m. on Friday, after a federal judge revoked his bail ahead of a trial scheduled for September.

Aside from Manafort, no other current inmate at the jail is listed as being housed in "VIP," according to the records.

The former Trump campaign chairman, who is charged with crimes unrelated to the election, is for now inmate number 00045343. He is allotted one hour of visitation on Friday afternoons.

Maybe there aren't bugs in his gruel, and maybe he even gets a ham sandwich for lunch instead of gruel; maybe he gets clean sheets on a mattress that's more than an inch thick and not covered with god knows what kind of stains; maybe he doesn't have to share a cell with a 6'7" heavily-tattooed meth dealer named Mongo; maybe he doesn't have to listen to other inmates bang their tin cups against the cell bars; and maybe he doesn't feel like he has to sharpen a spoon to use as a weapon or to scratch off every new day on his cell wall.
