The orange menace, the Republican Party, and their voters, are all responsible for unforgivable acts. Or perhaps, acts of "pure evil" is more accurate ?

Led by a madman, Republican officials and their voters have pushed the envelope beyond whatever most of us believed was possible in America.

They are kidnapping children and leaving them and their parents in despair.

This is not the America that any sane human ever believed in. And it's not a country we can tolerate.

It's almost beyond belief that Republicans are finding excuses, and worse, using biblical quotes to justify this insanity. This is something they'll never be able to walk away from or, "put behind them."

At this moment, the vast majority of us are helpless to end this horror. But a day of reckoning will come.

And for those who don't already know, a "reckoning" is not revenge. It is a balancing of the scales.

This is not something we can let slide for political comity. Or something that can be excused if/when Democrats regain control of the levers of power.

This outrage, this unconscionable political tactic, this act of pure evil, is not something to be "forgiven."

It is a crime against humanity.

And it must be treated as such.

4. Yes, it's a disease

The world has seen this disease again and again throughout history.

It's been defeated time and again. But it always returns.

This time, we are the people who must face it, battle it, and defeat it.

It seems we're fighting a losing battle. And it is at moments like this that patience is incredibly difficult. Imagine the horror for those families that have been torn apart by the evil that currently holds power in America.

At this moment, they and we are virtually helpless. But today's villains will not rule forever.

This is small comfort to those being victimized and terrorized at this very moment.

Unfortunately, we can't cure the horrible wounds that are currently being inflicted and that will last a lifetime.

All we can do is make certain that the perpetrators are held accountable for the pure evil they are inflicting on helpless victims.

5. Agreed ... and as others have already said

the perpetrators (as in Trump and his henchpeople) should be tried at The Hague for crimes against humanity.

6. Legal Definition of kidnapping:

"an act or instance or the crime of seizing, confining, inveigling,
abducting, or carrying away a person by force or fraud often with
a demand for ransom or in furtherance of another crime."

Trump and Sessions are literally guilty of kidnapping, according to
this definition. They have instituted this policy to use these children
as bargaining chips to "get the Dems to the table" so they can extort
something in return (i.e. the ransom)

The Democrats need to use this language, because it applies.

is nothing but a neo-nazi and white supremist hate group, and fear and hate is his rally cry to his people. They'll be remembered like the nazi's are remembered for their cruelty and inhumane actions against others.
