I don't want misinformation out there that people are not springing into action and fighting this today.
But, yes we need real strong organized marches along with this.

(8,203 posts)is moving quickly on this issue of babies, children being separated from their parents...voices ARE being heard - children crying - being heard...Photos being captured and aired of the little ones most affected by this vile policy - MASS demonstrations are next.....everyone needs to step up, and put their faces into the wind of this war.....
I suspect the ground is just beginning to shake under the evil doers.....hold on - it's coming....

(23,547 posts)immigration policy that will walk back family separation and they will do their best to brand the democrats pro separation when they don't support the horrific new immigration policy.
That's my theory and it could work.

(65,392 posts)sure a lot of Trumpsters are unmoved by this.
The U.S. has a long history of tearing apart the families of people of color--selling slave children away from their family as soon as they were able to work; taking Native American children away and imprisoning them in boarding schools that used them essentially as slave labor, starved them, and neglected their medical needs. Many of those kids who ran away from the boarding schools died before getting far.
And even though they were allowed to stay with their families, Japanese-American kids and their American citizen families were imprisoned in internment camps (i.e., concentration camps) during WWII.
I don't trust all that much in the general decency of the U.S. public, even when it comes to the well-being of infants and young children. Too many Americans care only for fetuses, not for children who have already been born.
