Romney uses Facebook to spread another debunked lie about Obama
It's one thing when a freelance writer on the Examiner repeats a lie told by a Breitbart hack.
It's quite another thing when the presumptive GOP nominee tells the same lie on his Facebook account.
The thing of it is, this is such an easy lie to debunk! And Romney repeats it as if it were God's Honest Truth!
This is the third story we've written about this lie. In our first, we scolded the original writer on Breitbart.com for misreading a court filing and not bothering to correct his error.
In our second story, in the interest of full disclosure, we scolded a fellow "Examiner" for repeating the lie told by the Breitbart.com writer without bothering to check its accuracy.
They can be forgiven. They are hack writers. We're not supposed to take them seriously.
But now, under his name, on his official Facebook page, Willard Mitt Romney has told the above lie and some 93,000 people have clicked the "like" button.
