We are being played!

Every time things happen such as Melania’s jacket, Trump is playing is!

Don’t lose focus!!! They want us rabid and angry and they want the media to focus on the obscene distractions.

Why?

Two reasons:

1. So they can focus on their atrocity of an agenda.

2. So we can use up our energy, make the general population tired of us, make ourselves tired of ourselves, desensitize is ALL!

There is a never-ending stream of news about Trump and his administration.

This is accompanied by people on one side saying it is a lie, and people on the other side feeling sorry for Trump for being attacked, believing his lies, and approving of his agenda.

All these words about issues large and tiny, and everything in between.

People get tired of hearing about it. They feel powerless or confused (who to believe, unless they are biased - like I am). They have better things to do with their time than stay focused on the big picture. After all, their personal lives likely haven't changed much since Trump took office. And even if their lives have, there isn't much they can do about it.

That's the way it is where I live. There is no faster way to shut down a conversation than to bring up Trump. That includes with those who hate him *and* those who adore him. The pro-Trumpers watch Fox News and drink the Kool-Aid. The anti-Trumpers (the ones who care about the direction in which our country is going), vacillate between despondency and anger.

It is overwhelming. First, the media tends to report every little thing, which is wrong because it loses sight of the big picture in all the jabber. Second, so much is wrong with our country that it is hard to keep track of what the big picture is.

The issues right off the top of my head are the separation of parents and their children at the border, immigration policy, healthcare system, cost of prescription drugs, income inequality, judicial system, racism entertwined through everythingt, LGBT rights, foreign policy in every aspect, poverty, religion, the prison system, gun control, education, women's rights, the political system... and I haven't even covered all of it.

Is it any wonder that the general population is likely overwhelmed and wants to check out? Not to me. It is much easier to just be or or against the current government, and continue on with one's life without examining what has happened to our country over the last 50 years.

terrorize us and others with by putin . Doing this around the world too. They are very organized , and are actively undermining Democratic nations around the world, and succeeding here. He's already corrupted the presidenct, and the gop , and possibly the Supreme Court for them to use against us . In russia he also reorganized , or i should say weaponized their government for his own use against others. Now we hear the same thing from trump, and attacks against the justice system so he can do the same thing, weaponize it for himself. He'll then criminalize his opposition like Hillary , Obama, and many others. The gop are involved with this also, and as we've seen they're weaponized against this investigation, and against Mueller exposing them soon for it. These people are corrupt political terrorists. They should be treated as such now.

Inside The Trump-Backed Campaign To Push Angela Merkel Out Of Power
The president, his allies and U.S. government officials are offering public and private support to anti-immigrant politicians hoping to topple Merkel by July 1.

By Akbar Shahid Ahmed, HuffPost US

WASHINGTON ― It’s not new to hear U.S. officials rooting for regime change. It’s just been a while since they’ve talked about it with regard to Berlin.

President Donald Trump’s attacks on Twitter against German Chancellor Angela Merkel this week provided the clearest evidence yet of a sprawling American campaign to undermine her. While Trump’s disdain for Merkel has been evident since the early days of his presidential run, he and his ideological allies have ramped up their efforts dramatically just as the German leader faces what experts call one of her most serious challenges yet: developing a Europe-wide policy on asylum seekers by July 1 to appease a crucial right-wing partner in her coalition government.

Merkel now has to contend with not only local opponents but also a network of influential anti-immigrant Americans and other international activists inspired by Trump and similar illiberal leaders, like Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

As much as possible, we must stay calm and focused on electing Dems in Nov. We are far more effective, when we remain calm and focused, than we are freaking out over Trump's current daily stupid outrage.
