Willard is already a proven liar in regards to his tax returns

Those of you who watched Rachel in the last day or two already know this.

Mr. Romney insisted until Thursday that he had paid his taxes as a Massachusetts resident during his three years in Utah. Then he acknowledged that in 1999 and 2000 he paid his state taxes as a Utah resident and listed himself as nonresident of Massachusetts.

In April, after deciding to run for governor here, Mr. Romney admitted having amended his tax returns for those two years to say he was really a resident of Massachusetts.

During the period in question, he was telling the SEC that he was the head of Bain (headquartered in Massachusetts) but he was telling the Massachusetts taxing authorities that he was a resident of Utah, because he was running the Olympics.

Then, to shed responsibility for Bain's layoffs and outsourcing, he retroactively resigned from Bain -- BUT he retroactively moved from Utah to Massachusetts (by amending his tax returns) when it was to his political advantage to meet the Massachusetts residency requirement.

In sum, his story then was that he was living in Utah while running a Massachusetts company. His story now is that he was living in Massachusetts while having nothing to do with the Massachusetts company but running the Utah Olympics.

Do I have that right?

In typical 'have it both ways' Willard fashion, he attempted to enjoy the tax advantage of claiming to be a Utah resident while simultaneously trying to claim he was a Mass. resident for the purpose of Mass governor eligibility. Furthermore he didn't amend his tax returns until AFTER the Democrats started pressing him about his eligibility. Up until the week he filed his amendments he claimed he did claim Mass. residency when obviously he didn't. After he got busted he claimed it was the fault of someone else.

Anyone who thinks Willard can be trusted about his taxes (or anything else) is extremely gullible.
