Follow up on my earlier post about the shirt sleeve right wing relative's emails

Recap: I contacted a nephew of my aunt who is in care, to keep him posted. His wife took over the email communications and for some strange reason started including me in her 'send all' list for right wing garbage. I asked her to take me off of the list, since I am a lifelong Democrat and supporter of President Obama. Seemed a simple request and I expected an 'ok - no problem.' response.

Her response:

I will do you that favor but for the life of me I don't know how anyone could support a person like that. Perhaps you could tell me why he is so special. I see only social and political strife everywhere I look. I don't blame him for all of it...I blame a system that rewards the greedy and incompetent and that includes the system that has been fixed to reward corporations, insurance companies, banks, and the politicians who hold their hands while crapping all over the little people. I am for neither party...I am a Tea Partier..I am for free enterprise, the constitution, and living within one's means. I am a lifelong foe of the government and proud of it.

Ok, I have zero intentions of expending any more energy in disussing this with her, especially after I saw the teaparty reference and my response was just that - I told her I don't have the time or energy and prefer we limit any communications to issues surrounding my aunt. Which means I probably won't be back in contact until she passes.

Judas Freaking Priest! Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. That response REALLY pissed me off.

ask people like that where they were during the Bush years. You know when we were attacked by AQ ans their response was basically - who knew. When Katrina killed thousands and their response was who knew. When the stock market crashed and their respose was - who knew. The one thing the Bush White House was SURE of....Iraq had WMD's.

Where the f were they then?

I don't have caller ID so there would be no way to avoid her. Front what she wrote, I'd say she'd bitch, no matter who was in the White House. What I'd say to the teaparty is, be careful what you wish for.........
