Just wondering, who OK's the inclusion of a Freeper/Birther website in the Library of Congress

Internet archive? The site is TheObamaFile.com and it is run by a member of FreeRepublic by the screen name, Beckwith. Whether Beckwith is Glen Beck himself or one of his crotch sniffers is not important.

What is important is the Library of Congress giving access to their data base to a bunch of RW extremist bloggers who blog roll on Free Republic.

As a side not RimJob's latest beg-a-thon is picking up cash a lot faster than the last three cycles.
PAC cash is going into his sewer to spread the typical innuendo about Obama but it is of the nastiest sexual sort that the RWers seem to love.

Things are getting really nasty and one prediction is going to prove true. This is the most racist election since George Wallace went third party.

For those with a stomach to collect the links that Freepers are using to spread this shit go to this Freeper page. Or use someone else's computer if you don't want to soil your own.

I'm OK with it. They should have copies of all the "banned" books too. Scuba Aug 2012 #1
I wonder if it's still included muriel_volestrangler Aug 2012 #2

Hopefully someday historians will learn from the archive.

The rather strange title of the archive - "Presidential Transition during a Time of Crises" - that TheObamaFile claimed in Feb 2009 is now described thus, by the LOC:

★ Public Policy Topics (previously titled "Presidential Transition During a Time of Crisis&quot
Collection Dates: February 2010-present

http://www.loc.gov/webarchiving/collections.html

The star indicating it's still being collated. But if they now say the start date is Feb 2010, they may have ignored the stuff they thought was worth archiving from TheObamaFile.
