The profound underlying sense of entitlement that goes with never having been challenged,

by always having been the 'big dog' in the room, has left him incapable of imagining himself accountable to anyone for anything.

It is a fundamental character flaw that not only SHOULD disqualify him for public service. it should put him on the National short list of people whose affairs should be investigated.

Romney could not be a WORSE choice for President.

1. Bingo. That seems to be his most serious flaw.

And it isn't just from being a rich business hotshot. I was reading an article by an escaped Mormon who explained that in the LDS church, boys get to be "priests" when they turn 12. From then on they have power within the church. Mittens eventually got to be a bishop and a ward president (whatever that is), and in the very rigid Mormon hierarchy his word was law; Mormons are expected to obey their church leaders without hesitation.

So all his life, in both his business and personal affairs, he has been accustomed to the absolute obedience of all the little, inferior people who surround him. You can see how testy he gets when he's questioned - this would be tantamount to heresy in his church, and would get you fired if you worked for him. Now he can't either fire or excommunicate the people who legitimately want to know what his policy position are, why he thinks he ought to be president, and what the hell is in his tax returns - and it drives him nuts.

If the Dems want him to crack, they need to keep questioning and challenging him. He hates that.

Good point. He always seems like the whole campaign thing is getting on his last nerve. I had forgotten how much the Mormon background is feeding into this.

Wouldn't it be fun to see him actually lose it?

A completely foreign concept for someone like him.

Many of them are in politics and I can think of at least one who was and is on our side.

Others run around ruining other people's life.

When I broke up with one of my grad school boyfriends he acted like a kindergartener who'd never been told "no." I ended up dropping out of the place for a year to get away from him. I finished but it sure didn't give me a good start to my then chosen profession. He's a muckety muck in same profession and probably hasn't changed much.

I think President is an especially bad career trajectory for such a person.
