Is anyone getting tired of hearing "Donald Trump is doing what he said he would do"?
Is this all for his racist and cruel policies? Because other than that I can't think of a damn thing he has done except a lot of damage.
This thought came to me while watching a segment on MSNBC this morning where they were interviewing voters in Missouri. They played a video which was mostly a bunch of asswipes praising Trump. One of them stated "Remember this. Donald Trump is doing what he said he was going to do" or words to that effect. When the interviewer asked him to elaborate, his answer was "watch Sean Hannity". ![]() At that point I just had to change the channel to CNN. Do we need to have a strategy to push back harder on this lie prior to the midterms? How can this lie be defeated? Or can it? Or does it need to be at all, i.e. are we just going to send more voters to the polls than they are?

1. There's no way to reach those people. They're going to vote Trump no matter what.
The only way to beat them is outnumbering them at the polls.

2. It is all for his racist policies...and he's doing exactly what he said.
When they say that, what they really mean is: "Donald Trump told me he would systematize my personal racism and reverse what I perceive as the bureaucratic march to persecute white people in this country just for wanting to maintain historical white privilege...and that's exactly what he's doing so yeah, Trump is doing what he said he would do." And the f'ing unfortunate reality is he's doing exactly what he said he would do. |

3. I am totally tired of everything about this criminal and the entire crime family.
He's done nothing good, only kept the promises that hurt others and broke tons and tons and tons of promises that were just lies to begin with. Here are some broken promises-
Unite America - most divisive pretend president ever, hate crimes way way up with his smiling approval Not be racist - most racist pretend president ever, calls black people dogs, stupid, etc. Replace Obamacare with something more comprehensive and less expensive - just destroying ACA, nothing at all to replace anything Not touch Medicare or social security - Repugs have voted several times to cut billions from Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid. Clean out the government - hired most corrupt government in US history Tax cuts will benefit middle class the most - this is a laughable lie, tax cuts hurt middle class in high tax states, 75% of benefits went to wealthy who are not raising wages at all. Shut down wars - increased rate of death in Afghanistan, Taliban is surging under drumpfs administration Stop ISIS and Assad - working hand in glove with Russia in Syria and giving Assad free reign to murder his opponents and stay in control - putting Russias wants over those of the USA Only deport illegal criminals - deporting people with green cards married to US citizens, deporting people who've been here 30 years and came as children - Would act presidential once he was president - nope still acts like a guilty criminal who stole the office and is now terrified of getting caught Increase coal jobs - nope, not happening Make America Great AGain - nope, he's bringing us way down in world opinion, wages are down, Russia is getting the benefit of our tariffs He's a total failure as president for the entire USA, just as he was in everything else in his life. |

5. the media say crap they would never say about a democrat.
would they ever excuse any democrat by simply saying oh, they're doing what they said they'd do?
or, they're just saying what everyone else is thinking? or, they should be president because they're someone you'd like to have a beer with? |

7. You are right
they are stupid. But why did the interview end with "watch Sean Hannity"? Could not the MSNBC interviewer say to him "oh, so you let Sean Hannity do your thinking for you?"
People who say these things need to have their intelligence challenged. |
