he is sincere. I believed everything he said tonight on L O’D. Would love to be able to vote for this man...maybe I will be able to one day. I say the same for Beto.

He would be such a welcome change after all the terrible republicans who have been governor in Florida. Maybe Floridians will have a governor who actually cares about people. Democrats have to GOTV!

Speaking technique. He has some verbal tics, such as saying "ahh" in the middle of a sentence, that he needs to control. Politicians are performers and a good speaking style is important.

They show up when he's not comfortable with the topic. It will come across poorly in a debate on a pivotal question if he doesn't get rid of it.

But when Gillum is happy with the subject matter and he gets rolling, he's as impressive as anyone
