This is a particularly challenging time for New York and for our country.

but her words do make me feel better. and she does have a certain personal historical perspective .

She was formerly the Solicitor General of NY; I don't know if she'll return there or not. Cuomo had appointed her in 2011 when he was AG and then Schneiderman reappointed her.

(56,828 posts)I had no idea what to expect with Underwood since she was supposedly not running again. However, she has been awesome, exceeding my expectations by a HUGE amount.
(Nothing against Underwood, I had expected anybody coming in to just be a caretaker through the November elections)
