Huffington Post has an interview with Greenwald, and I don't recommend it, but if I were to

summarize his views it would be this quote from him:

"I just think there’s a ton of assumptions embedded in that claim that I don’t accept. Beginning with the idea that the difference between Hillary Clinton winning and Donald Trump winning is so, so vast for the entire world. I think there are differences between the two candidates in terms of policies that they would have implemented, primarily for the United States. But what are these grave differences that the rest of the world is suffering under Donald Trump which they wouldn’t have been suffering under Hillary Clinton?"

Greenwald isn't an objective reporter. He is a bias, self-centered person, who blatantly ignores facts when then get in the way of his bias

He talks out of both sides of his f**king mouth. In one breath "Greenwald tells us there's nothing to the Russia story and then ends by positing an economic relationship between Trump and the Russian Mafia-State (and a grand nationalist coalition that includes Israel and Saudi Arabia)."

Geez, there is such a disconnect with him it is unbelievable

here is the article for anyone who has the desire to enter into Greenwald's reality:

Greewnwald seemed semi-sane during the GWB* years, but now? His exploitation of and failure toprotect the identity of Reality Winner alone ought to earn him contempt from all progressives.

We know it was Russia.

* Dutch intelligence hacked the russian hacker-group IRA while they hacked the DNC.

* We have dozens of examples where russian trolls posed as US-citizens and US grassroots-groups to praise Trump and bash Hillary. (Heart of Texas, Jenna Abrams, Williams&Kalvin, United Muslims of America...)

* We have Joseph Mifsud (a professor with connections to the Kremlin) offering these hacked emails to Papadopolous.

* We have the Trump-Tower meeting between the Trump-campaign and Veselnitskaya, a russian "lawyer"/"lobbyist" working for the russian Interior Ministry who was involved in a scheme to recruit a swiss law-enforcement-official as a double-agent for Russia.

* We have Trump's connections to oligarchs and the russian mob going back decades. (Michael Cohen is a childhood-friend of the russian mobster Felix Sater, for fuck's sake.)

* We have Mike Flynn's connections to Russia, going back years.

* We have Carter Page's connections to actual bona fide russian spies, going back years.

And concerning his buddy Julian Assange...

Where does Wikileaks have its servers? In Zurich, Amsterdam and... Moscow. An organization that prides itself as a bastion of journalism has set up shop in a country where newspapers critical of Putin get closed and where journalists get murdered.
The FSB threatened to take out Wikileaks in 2010, if they ever tried to leak from Russia. And then Wikileaks moved to Russia.

And on one hand Assange states categorically that Wikileaks didn't get the democratic emails from a state-actor. On the other hand Wikileaks recently posted a tweet saying that don't even share the identity of sources internally. So Assange can in no way guarantee either way whether Wikileaks got the emails from Russia or not.
