It seems likely that Mueller has all he needs on trump if he is willing to accept written answers

from trump. Actually written answers from trump’s lawyers, not the illiterate 6th grader whom we all know hasn’t met a truth he will not turn into a lie.

I believe this is a concession disguised. Disguised perjury trap? Maybe. But certainly Mueller has all he needs if trump ihas become a target. You know trump’s lawyers will be the ones answering these queries, not trump, but the queries will carry the penalty of perjury if they are answered falsely. Not for the lawyers but for trump because he will at the end have to sign off on the answers.

This concession on Meullers part, I think, will allow him to advance established indictments he already has in hand. Indictments of Americans involved in the Russian interference investigation. I think this Friday, unlike Chuck Todd last Friday, will see indictments of Americans. He really doesn’t need trump’s answers, written or otherwise, to establish that crimes have occurred and he has sufficient evidence of who committed them.

These indictments will be death knell of trump’s administration as the rats jump off the sinking ship, actually the sinking canoe that this administration has become.

I have no doubt Mueller already has everything he needs to indict all the President's men and the President. But he's covering all the bases, allowing the President to speak for himself in case there is something overlooked. He wants to be fair and wants the nation to know his investigation was conducted fairly and thoroughly.

Written answers must be signed and dated under penalty and perjury under the laws of the state of_________ that the foregoing is true and correct.

Or under the laws of the federal courts . . . that the foregoing is true and correct.

He has evidence of Trump's guilt on multiple charges. No need for tricks. The facts are ample.

if he has lied to them, they will write down the answers as told to them by trump, it will then be signed by trump and possibly commit perjury anyway.

and regardless of what the answers actually say, just having answers to confirm Trump is was aware of some of these things will be enough to get him.

i.e. "Did you drive away from the bank robbery in a black car or a red car?" actually has nothing to do with the color of the car.

Mueller has played it very close to the vest, so the WH has no idea what the prosecutors have. Mueller can toss this bone to Trump's lawyers, who will be working in the dark as far as the answers. They'll try their best to avoid landmines without really knowing where the landmines are because they'll be relying on Trump's lies and obfuscation.

It's not going to be pretty.

As for indictments? Wasn't Randy Credico scheduled for a sit down with Mueller's team this week? Wouldn't be surprised if Stone's indictment follows, tout suite. Even Stone believes his indictment is imminent.

We shall see!
