(33,643 posts)Ya know, same-sex Punk Rockers who just happen to like to masturbate with one another are PEOPLE TOO, FFS!?!
I thought we were better than this!?!
The rampant, unfair denigration of the harmless act of Circle-Jerking ... must STOP!

Actually I was trying to find out where the orange con man is campaigning next.

(10,885 posts)Say youre a single female wanting a baby 👶 and you go to a sperm bank.
You look thru their catalog to see what characteristics you want passed on to your baby.
Is it biologically possible to get the best of several worlds from one guy who is smart, one who is funny, one who is handsome.
Could you mix three sets of sperm together or would only one little swimmer get thru anyway?
I guess I should have paid attention in biology or sex Ed class but there was no such thing as bukkake back then.

(22,041 posts)Remember that there are many millions of sperm cells in most healthy ejaculations but only one cell can fertilize an egg. The woman in your hypothetical scenario would have to choose her "dose" from one donor.
In addition, if I recall correctly, the woman has her eggs fertilized in vitro which means that several ova are removed from her ovaries and they are then fertilized with the donor's sperm in a Petri dish. If the sperm and ova commingle, then the fertilized ova are implanted in the woman's uterus to (hopefully) carry to term. Because the procedure will implant several fertilized eggs, (in order to raise the chances of a successful pregnancy), there is a higher percentage of multiple births possible. Most times, however, only one of the fertilized ovum will actually implant in the uterus.
By the way, bukkake has been around as long as humans have been having sex. It's just that no one gave the act a name until the Japanese did in, I think, the 1980s. Isn't it fascinating how humans can sexualize anything?!
PS: To anyone reading my biological explanation, please correct me if I've made an error. Thanks.
