He already starred in One Flew over The Cuckoos Nest and the Shining. "Heres Donald". " I will huff, I will puff and blow your democracy down".

(2,343 posts)I've been re-watching episodes of The Office that James Spader has been in, and holy cow! He looks and sounds like the idiot. Spader could be super believable as the orange dipshit!

(50,562 posts)He has experience playing corrupt (Hoskins in Jurassic World), insane and huge (Pyle in Full Metal Jacket), and hes still a working actor. Jack Nicholson hasnt been in anything since Obamas first term.
The other choice is Ron Perlman. Hes already big enough, he likes playing comic book monsters, and he hates Trump with a passion so hed enjoy the work.

(13,186 posts)The big problem I had with the movie "W" was that the Josh Brolin was not able to mask the muscle memory that gives his facial expressions and posture an edge of "cool." That kept Dubya's Dauphin-like ignorance and unearned macho pose from rising to the surface. It's extremely difficult to imagine anyone successfully playing Dubya.
Now we have Trump. Jack Nicholson might be able to play him. He's versatile. "As Good As It Gets" is one of my favorite movies of all time, and Nicholson hit every note. Trump? I don't know.
Streep would disappear into the character and own it. The Rock has the requisite professional wrestling "attitude," and that's a huge part of Trump.
