Twenty dogs and more than 1,000 hens and roosters have been rescued from a suspected animal fighting operation in Wisconsin.

On Aug. 30, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office went to a property in Gilman Township to execute a search warrant in connection with a methamphetamine charge, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. There, officers found scores of animals living in “deplorable conditions,” according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Apparently he was used as a 'bait dog' when he was a puppy at a place like that. He still has all manner of fears, mostly around eating and other dogs.

He also gets hella aggressive toward other dogs (ridge of hair standing up on his spine and everything). I have to keep him away from everyone else walking their dogs, else he ends up making some terrifying prehistoric sounds and tries to bite their throats out.

Other than that, he's fine.

for the monsters who did this. I think tortures used during the Inquisition are too lenient.
