I Love It When People Say I Can't Understand Romney Because I've 'Never Started Or Run A Business'...

by Henry Blodget at Business Insider

"SNIP........................................

After I articulated my frustration with Romney's plan, I got many of the same notes I always get when I explain why his plan won't work. The polite ones went something like this:

"While I enjoy your writing, you obviously have never owned or started a successful business..."

.................................

I actually have started and own (part of) a successful business.

The business that I started and own part of is the business that is making it possible for you to read this article: Business Insider.

But I'm not allowed to say to all those guys in congress, "...but regardless of what you say, you've obviously never been pregnant."

Methinks their "experience" requirement is a bit situational, yes?

When did business experience become a job requirment/qualification?
The only other businessman that I remember in the White House was GWB. And he's the one who created the problems.

Yeah, we really want a President who will dismantle the country's assets, send them overseas, and pocket tons of cash for destroying our lives.

"You Libs don't know anything about working for a living or running a company, all you do is sit around and complain about those that do."

"I'd love to stay here and debate you on this point, but I have a business to run and customers to talk to; I'll get back to you just as soon as I get some time, I've just been too damn busy."

Yeah, idiots assume you are just like them, clueless.

Blodget really gets it. Get it?

And then I explained that the problem in the economy is not that the richest American companies and individuals don't have enough cash to invest—they have plenty.

Rather, the problem in the economy is that the American middle class, which is the primary end customer for almost every business that rich companies and individuals might invest in, is broke.

And Romney's plan does not include any way to get more money to the middle class.

is in many ways a DICTATORSHIP where workers Constitutional Rights must be left at the front door.

WHY THE HELL ANY AMERICAN WOULD WANT THEIR COUNTRY RUN AS A BUSINESS, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING HOW TOTALITARIAN AMERICAN WORKING LIFE IS TODAY, IS completely beyond me!

like somehow you can actually relate to what they are saying about the federal budget because everyone has to have a budget. Then if you question them, suddenly you can't relate because you never ran a business. Yeah I ran a business, it's called my life. The same life they use as an analogy when it suits them and dismiss when it doesn't. * them and their fake analogies.
