Drop back to when Bush and Cheney ruled the day...

imagine if someone proffered a movie script wherein the electoral system gave the country a President of the United States who is a career liar, deadbeat, philanderer, and multiply-bankrupt faux-billionaire. Add to this the fact that he is in bed with the Russian elite up to his neck, awash in debt and being blackmailed with the threat of release of a horrifying video of his actions which may or may not include underage individuals who may or may not survive the shooting of the video.

Now all of this is known to be true or semi-true by the populace as a whole which may or may not infer that there are even more serious issues involved.

Couple this with the supposition that this individual is a willfully ignorant, uneducated, illiterate malignant narcissist who possesses no loyalty, even criminal loyalty to those surrounding him, including his chief counsel/fixer.

So the author of this script shows up at Columbia or Touchstone or wherever and pitches this. He or she would be laughed out of the room OR the script would be converted into an Eddie Murphy-like comedy. Not in a million years would this be a possibility. Not even in the fantasy-land of film.

It is truly the Decline and Fall of the American Empire, starring Caligula and his family.

As long as the gop is in charge, he is their God. Tax cuts, social network cuts, ignorant of any real laws. They finally got the president of their dreams. They are doing whatever they want to. McConnell just declared that Kavanaugh WILL be seated on the SC. He is another "less than" that the gop admires.

That if someone came up with this Trump saga as an idea for a movie, it would certainly fail because it was too ridiculous and unbelievable.

During the campaign I kept changing the channel, I couldn't wait for it to be over so I wouldn't have to see or hear Trump again! I don't know how hew managed to have some TV show, he is anything but entertaining...

is the complicit M$M that enables the GOP to stay in power.

The NY Times, with sweet Judy Miller, who published Cheney's or Roves WMD article under her name that helped move our country to war with Iraq. Today, the very same NY Times publishes an article, most likely, IMO, colluded with the Trump administration, that will be the demise of Mueller's investigation.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Vote the bastards out.

NY Times Story May Give Donald Trump Excuse He Seeks To Fire Rod Rosenstein | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC

Just as Donald Trump went soft on what seemed intended to be a confrontation with the DoJ over declassifying Trump Russia investigation documents, a sensational New York Times story may give him a new excuse to fire Rod Rosenstein.

13. Oh that. Well, I dont see even a firing as enough to stop the investigation.

And I dont see him firing Mueller either. I think Congress already warned him that was a bridge too far. But then again, he knows more than anyone else in the world so who knows. But at this point I'm not worried about his idiocy firing either of them.
