Paul Ryan, one of the laziest Congressmen in the past decade

He's been in Congress for nearly 13 years, but Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has only seen two of his bills pass into law during that time.

Ryan, who Mitt Romney has tapped as his running mate, passed a bill into law in July 2000 that renames a post office in his district. Thanks to Ryan, the post office on 1818 Milton Ave. in Janesville, Wis., is now known as "Les Aspin Post Office Building."

The other time Ryan saw one of his bills become law was in December 2008, with legislation to change the way arrows (as in bows and arrows) are hit with an excise tax. Specifically, his bill amended the Internal Revenue Code to impose a 39-cent tax per arrow shaft, instead of a 12.4 percent tax on the sales price. The bill also "includes points suitable for use with arrows in the 11 percent excise tax on arrow parts and accessories."

It appears Ryan had a personal interest in passing the arrow tax bill: He is an accomplished bowhunter. Jay McAninch, president of the Archery Trade Association, earlier this year praised Ryan on his blog for pushing that bill through.

The Robme camp has given us a way too easy target, way too easy.

Ryan is a clown, period

What the fuck has he been doing, collecting a paycheck? SEVEN TIMES he's won his district? The people he 'represents' must be blind, deaf and stoopid not to notice, or they just don't give a shit.

times 14 years (and we know it was less when he was first elected), he'd have received around $2 million.

The LA Times says his weath is between $2 million and $7.7 million. His investments are said to include stock in well-known companies - from tobacco, oil interests, fast food, athletic wear, drug companies, banks, Apple...

You don't suppose he was "lucky" and took "advantage" of the 6-percent-point-per-year profit over the S&P 500 insider trading practice congress people had for the 16 years before the STOCK act to end this scam took place to increase his wealth?

Oh, and unlike his running mate, he has no "business experience." He's always been connected to politics.

So there must be a good reason why he's the golden boy now. I think it's his recent failed legislation that spells death for anyone not in the 1%, or in his case, in the employ of the 1%.

is disquieting, most telling, and enough to make one wonder if he will also feel sheer joy in seeing the elderly, the sick, and the lame die in droves should his proposed budget be enacted: what a swell fella der Mitten has selected.

and though he had very few pieces of legislation passed, he got tons of stuff put in amendments. and he sure wasn't/isn't lazy.

Paul Ryan is vile but I don't think lazy is an apt description or a viable attack point.
