A Friend And I Are At ODDS...

This friend of mine a former White House photographer, are at odds over helping the homeless VETERANS.

His belief is to just hand them the cash out of your pocket if you choose and mine is to direct them towards social organization that are qualified to help.

I told him just handing them cash is like putting scotch tape on a tire that is going flat, the tire will still go flat.

Then he went there... and said 4 more years of a liberal in the WH and we will see a lot more of this. I said obviously you haven't read the conservative record when it come to assisting VETS, the conservative almost always vote funding VETS programs unless there is a some increase in defense spending like helping out the industrial war machine.

I ask him just how many times do you think Rmoney and Mr Munster have spent time helping homeless VETS or others in their community's and since most homeless dont earn any income how will a tax break for the rich or poor help them?

He Is Still Thinking

Part of what ails - creates stress, health problems, etc - is not enough money.

Why can't there be both assistance & money?

Not all people in dire straights are incapable of managing their lives - if they have money.

That includes vets.
