This would have never got the attention it deserved if Senator Feinstein hadn't proceeded the way

she did.

She received a lot of flack from both the left and the right how this should have been brought up sooner, but the fact is that NOT only did Ms. Ford initially NOT want it to be made public, and remain anonymous, but if this was done two months ago there is no doubt in my mind that the republican hate machine would have geared up and mobilized with a full smear campaign against the victim. By introducing this at the 11th hour, not only did this not give them enough time to mobilize their smear campaign, but it puts focus on this issue for everyone to see RIGHT BEFORE THE MIDTERMS WHAT IS AT STAKE.

BRAVO SENATOR FEINSTEIN!!!

run the game against anyone taking on their good old boy guard.
She has seen it for years & knows exactly how to break through the door of that clubhouse.
I am dearly thankful for our Democratic women & men who continually push through that sacred door.
Their years of wisdom is key to sustaining fairness in this country.
I cannot imagine what women like Feinstein have endured since the time they stepped inside the House & Senate of our US govt.
The value of their years of experience is realized again & again, but clearly witnessed today.
#NoGirlsAllowed needs to go the way of the old & embittered Republican patriarchs.
