I worked in a cocktail lounge as a bartender in the late 70's, tons of the insurance executives i served at teh bar were sans wedding rings but talked about their wives (who of course did not understand them).

So I’m gonna give him a pass on this.

But the rest of him is a freaking train wreck. Hope he sinks himself. Getting angry then crying isn’t what we want in a Supreme Court Justice.

Well, mostly we just don’t want him.

it could be that he is allergic to the metal the ring is made of. I had to take my ring off more than occasionally because I got raw and infected there. However, on the others side he could just be a dick about it.

and put it on when he got home: he was an industrial chemist, and wearing jewelry was a safety hazard. BTW, he went to an all-boys Jesuit school, although not one nearly as tony as Georgetown Prep: it was a step up for children of east European immigrants.

I lost my wedding ring shortly after I got married (that was nearly 45 years ago); my husband never had one.
