the word is "ashamed". I've felt ashamed for our country for nearly two years, and at times like

these, it is nearly too intense to tolerate. Of course, that is a broad brush, and America is not its politicians and judges - it is more than the trumper republicans. But all of those factors bring shame to our country - certainly in the eyes of the world, and those of us who are victims of the lies, crimes and injustice of the current administration - and of just about all republicans - it is just too much to process.

As a father to two daughters, and thinking of my loving wife, reading of the courage of Dr Ford - of the courage of all who call out their sexual predators - as a father who understands what both my daughters went through growing up - what (from what I've read - I can't bear to watch any or even listen) is being done is such a deep injustice that it is indescribable.

That we are actually considering a life time Supreme Court position to yet another entitled criminal being protected by his kind is....yes - too much to conceive, too much to bear.

We are witnessing yet another dark, dark day in a time where they have not been in short supply.

We are now so desperate for heroes to emerge - courageous people from the party of lies and deceit to show spine and do what is right. If they don't, our future as a decent country is simply in deep peril.
